BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 14 (UPI) -- A Colorado co-founder of Crocs Inc. was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after he was found passed out behind the wheel, police said.

Boulder police said the witness found George Brian Boedecker Jr., 51, passed out behind the wheel of his Porsche with the engine running around 5:20 p.m. Sunday and officers arrived to find the vehicle had been parked partially on the sidewalk and the man smelled of alcohol, The Denver Post reported Tuesday.

Police said Boedecker exited the car and officers noticed he was slurring his words and having trouble keeping his balance.

Boedecker was uncooperative with officers and said his girlfriend -- who he implied was country singer Taylor Swift -- had been behind the wheel of the car and left after an argument.

Boedecker, who resigned from the Crocs board in 2006, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and freed on $500 bond.
