Aug. 14, 2012 at 1:16 PM

JACKSON, Mich., Aug. 14 (UPI) -- The Michigan owners of a cat who was shot in the head with an arrow said the feline is back at home after being treated at Michigan State University.

David Nyssen, 18, one of the owners of 6-year-old cat Baby, said he was found with an arrow lodged between his eyes Aug. 5 and the arrow was surgically removed at the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine, MLive.com reported Tuesday.

Nyssen said Baby was released Friday.

"He's doing pretty good," he said. "Walking around, sleeping and eating. Being normal."

Nyssen said his family is now keeping Baby inside. He said they fear the arrow shooting was intentional.
