Pit bull adopts baby goat

An Oklahoma woman said her 2 1/2-year-old pit bull has adopted a baby goat as her puppy.

TULSA, Okla., Aug. 13 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma woman said her 2 1/2-year-old pit bull has adopted a baby goat as her puppy.

Julie Free of Tulsa said GP -- short for Goat Puppy -- was having trouble when he was first born and soon bonded with her dog Piper, KOTV, Tulsa, reported Monday.

"Piper started nuzzling on him and he actually kinda came around," Free said.

She said the goat stood up for the first time at Piper's prompting.

Free said GP does not like to be away from the canine and has started tagging along with Piper to her companion dog classes.
