LESOGORSK, Russia, Aug. 9 (UPI) -- Rescue crews in Siberia say the cow they corralled on the fifth floor of an apartment building was apparently ditching an amorous bull in its pasture.

The desperate cow apparently bolted from a field in the village of Lesogorsk recently after the love-struck bull repeatedly interrupted its peaceful grazing.

The cow took off with the bull in pursuit and ran into the nearby apartment house. The cow clambered up to the fifth floor while the bull loitered around the front door.

Emergency personnel told the RIA Novosti news agency Wednesday the cow seemed to have no desire to leave the premises. It had to be lassoed and virtually dragged to the lobby while mooing in protest.
