LONDON, Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Britain's Trading Standards Institute said spectators who paid large sums to watch Olympic diving and found their seats had obstructed views should be refunded.

The institute, a professional association for trading standards professionals, said many spectators paid between $289 and $461 to watch diving at the Olympic Park's Aquatics Center, but they arrived to find their seats had no view of the diving board or the big screens, The Daily Telegraph reported Wednesday.

The London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games previously said it would refund ticket holders from the $78 section who had restricted views of the diving boards, but a LOCOG representative told The Daily Telegraph spectators from the more expensive seats should follow the complaints procedure on the London 2012 Web site.

The Trading Standards Institute said the tickets should be refunded as the unclear views constitute a "breach of condition" of the tickets' sales.
