Austin Wierschke beat 10 fellow speed texters, ages ranging from 16 to 24, in a competition Wednesday in New York testing their speed, accuracy and dexterity, CBS News reported. Advertisement The competitors faced off in three rounds -- texting while blindfolded, texting with their hands behind their backs and a Text Blitz round requiring them to speedily copy phrases. Wierschke won a $50,000 prize.
