LONDON, Aug. 7 (UPI) -- Organizers of the London 2012 Olympics are auctioning items online including a badminton shuttlecock, a tennis ball and a basketball.

The items include a $391 badminton shuttlecock from the bronze medal match between India's Saina Nehwal and China's Xin Wang, a tennis ball from a match between Scotsman Andy Murray and Swiss star Roger Federer with a starting price of $555, and a basketball from the men's gold medal basketball match for $2,040, The Sun reported Tuesday.

The organizers, who said proceeds will go toward paying for the games, said torches signed by athletes including Bradley Wiggins, Steve Redgrave, Victoria Pendleton and Michael Johnson are all selling for more than $3,100.
