NEW YORK, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- New York police said they busted a urologist accused of using a camera concealed in a newspaper to peek up women's skirts on the subway.

Police said a fellow passenger on a southbound 4 train at the Union Square station noticed Dr. Adam Levinson, an assistant professor of urology at Mount Sinai Hospital's school of medicine, inching toward a woman wearing a dress while he was holding a pen camera clipped to a folded-up newspaper, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

Sheldon Birthwright, 46, the construction worker who noticed Levinson's alleged actions, said he alerted police at the East 59th Street stop and the doctor was arrested.

"They say, 'When you see something, say something,'" Birthwright said. "That's all I did. It feels good."

Police said Levinson, who was found to be in possession of multiple upskirt videos he allegedly shot himself, was charged with unlawful surveillance and freed on $15,000 bond.

A spokesman for Mount Sinai said Levinson was suspended following his arrest.
