LORAIN, Ohio, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- A man who repeatedly entered an Ohio convenience store to steal only "Reese's Peanut Butter Cup" candies has been apprehended, police said.

In a string of thefts over the past six months, a man entered a Sunoco gas station and convenience store in Lorain, Ohio, typically around midnight, grabbed a handful of the candies and escaped. Early Thursday morning police were in the area and captured the suspect, a 17-year-old Lorain youth who admitted, in the back seat of the police car, to stealing the candies, the (Cleveland, Ohio) Plain Dealer reported Friday.

Police said the thief stole about $600 of the candies since February. His case was turned over to juvenile authorities, the newspaper said.
