Police: Car thief fell asleep at the wheel

HOLLYWOOD, Fla., July 13 (UPI) -- Hollywood, Fla., police said they arrested a teenager who passed out drunk behind the wheel of a stolen car.

Police said Nicholas Jackson, 19, was spotted sleeping in the car, with the engine running, Tuesday, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Friday.

Officers said Jackson was under the influence of alcohol.

Jackson was charged with grand theft auto.
