Va. man wins second lottery in 3 months

ARLINGTON, Va., July 12 (UPI) -- A Virginia man said positive thinking was his secret to winning his second $100,000 jackpot from the Virginia Lottery in three months.

Joseph Sylvester, who won his first jackpot in April, matched all five numbers for the Cash 5 drawing July 3 with the ticket he purchased from the 7-Eleven on South Fern Street in Arlington, WUSA-TV, Washington, reported Thursday.

Sylvester said he used Easy Pick, which uses a computer to randomly select the numbers for the ticket. The numbers were 11-15-19-26-27.

"It feels great to win. I guess the only advice I have is: Expect to win," Sylvester said.

He said he plans to continue playing the lottery.
