ORCHARD LAKE, Mich., June 30 (UPI) -- A Michigan woman won $2,012 for a wedding dress she made out of toilet paper, officials said.

Susan Brennan, 26, won the eighth annual Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com toilet paper wedding dress contest, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.

Contestants are asked to use nothing more than Charmin toilet paper -- one of the contest's sponsors -- tape, glue and/or needle and thread to create their wedding dresses, then submit pictures. The dresses are judged on creativity, originality, beauty and the use of toilet paper.

Brennan, who also won last year's toilet paper wedding dress contest, used 10 rolls of Charmin toilet paper to make her dress. She won $2,012 for this year's entry.

Katrina Chalifoux of Knoxville, Tenn., came in second, winning $1,000 for her dress made from 28 rolls of Charmin. Chalifoux, 50, has competed in the contest three times and won in 2008.
