Monsignor Francesco Moraglia issued the decree, which takes effect June 24, after neighbors of the city's churches complained about the noise from excessive ringing, ANSA reported Friday. Advertisement The decree regulates the "hours, duration, intensity and procedures" for bell ringing in the city. "Ringing will be inspired by criteria of moderation," the decree said.
