Grad program leaves 'l' out of 'public'

AUSTIN, Texas, May 23 (UPI) -- The University of Texas Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs apologized for leaving the "l" out of "Public" in its commencement programs.

The school issued an apology Monday for the unfortunate typo on the cover of the programs, which were distributed at the graduation ceremony during the weekend, KXAN-TV, Austin, Texas, reported Wednesday.

"Our deepest apologies to our 2012 graduates for the egregious typo in our commencement program," the school said on its Twitter page. "We are working to distribute new programs."
