PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., May 18 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida said a woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly stabbing a man in the shoulder four times with a sea shell.

Port St. Lucie police said the 41-year-old victim told officers he and Patricia Wehr, 40, "went out for drinks because she had to be in court tomorrow for a battery charge ... and she was stressed" and they argued upon returning home early May 15, TCPalm.com reported Friday.

The man said Wehr, who he described as intoxicated, scratched his face and bit his ear before following him into the kitchen and stabbing him in the shoulder four times with a "sea shell similar to a thin conch shell," the police report states.

Wehr, who told police she wanted the man out of her home, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
