HOLLYWOOD, Fla., May 18 (UPI) -- Authorities in Florida said they recovered a pair of pot belly piglets and used a stun gun to subdue the man who allegedly stole them with a truck.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said Charlie Borquin, a sprinkler repair technician who sells pigs from his work truck, told deputies he left the animals in the vehicle with the keys in the ignition while he was working at a Hollywood home Wednesday and someone drove off with the truck and the passenger pigs, The Miami Herald reported Friday.

Deputies said a neighbor found a female piglet wandering the neighborhood Wednesday night and a homeless man found a male piglet a few blocks away Thursday afternoon.

Investigators said the stolen truck was spotted shortly after the male pig was recovered and deputies used a stun gun on suspect Frantz Aboubaker when he attempted to flee.

Borquin said he was happy the pigs were returned to him unharmed and he is still planning to sell them.

"Yeah, I'm gonna get them a home and someone's gonna have a really special pet and maybe a famous one," he said.
