NAPLES, Fla., May 12 (UPI) -- Police have again arrested a Florida man who made headlines last month for allegedly stealing a $1 soda refill from McDonald's.

Naples police arrested Mark Francis Abaire, 52, outside a Pizza Hut Monday and charged him with misdemeanor trespassing, the Naples Daily News reported Tuesday.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office said Abaire, who is known to be homeless, was spotted outside a Pizza Hut about 3:30 a.m. Recognizing him from a previous incident at the same Pizza Hut, officers stopped Abaire to speak with him, the police report said.

Abaire was arrested at the Pizza Hut in February for trespassing and open-container violations and was banned from the restaurant, the newspaper said.

Abaire said he was at the Pizza Hut again because he dropped his lighter.
