CHICAGO, May 4 (UPI) -- The Chicago History Museum announced Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's little black book, complete with a "while you were away" note, went on display Friday.

The museum said the book, which went on display as part of the museum's "Unexpected Chicago" exhibit, was used by Hefner "while his celebrity was on the rise" in the 1950s and contains notes about women he met in the early days of Playboy, when the company was based in Chicago.

"No man's world could be quite as adventurous as Hefner's, whose suave appreciation of the finer things made him millions and led the nation toward postwar sexual revolution," the museum said.
