TAMARAC, Fla., May 1 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said a masked thief dubbed the Takeout Burglar hit at least five restaurants in a single night.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said the man burglarized China Chef in North Lauderdale and Tokyo Japanese Restaurant in Oakland Park as well as Tamarac restaurants Island Vibes and Pho Hoa late April 17 and early morning April 18, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Tuesday.
Investigators said the burglar, who was recorded by security cameras at Island Vibes, is also suspected of committing at least 15 other burglaries in the county.
