WALDORF, Md., April 16 (UPI) -- Authorities in Maryland said they arrested an ice cream truck driver accused of selling marijuana alongside the frozen treats.

The Charles County Sheriff's Office said deputies arrested Alexander Hoskins, 20, of Waldorf last week after receiving a tip and they discovered cash and bags of marijuana concealed in the suspect's underwear, WBAL-TV, Baltimore, reported Monday.

"He really was selling ice cream -- ice cream or marijuana. You can take your pick with this guy," sheriff's spokeswoman Diane Richardson said.

Investigators said Hoskins found customers for his side-business through word of mouth.

Hoskins was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and released on bond.
