Man finds 1938 Superman comic in wall of house

BRADENTON, Fla., April 18 (UPI) -- Florida police said a man with a 2-inch wound on his forehead told them he was struck by someone wielding a blunt object while drinking alone in his yard.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said the 31-year-old man told deputies he was drinking alone in his back yard around 4 a.m. Monday when someone attacked him from behind, the Bradenton (Fla.) Herald reported Monday.
The victim said he turned around and was struck in the head with a blunt object, which left a 2-inch gash requiring stitches.
The attacker searched the man's pockets for money but ended up leaving empty-handed, investigators said.
