The firefighters responded Tuesday morning to a report of ducklings trapped in the 116th Avenue Southeast storm drain, and they reached into the drain and pulled the baby birds to safety, Seattlepi.com reported Thursday. "The mother duck, who had been flying around watching the rescue, returned to the pond to care for her ducklings."
