4,428 set dance record in India

MUMBAI, March 26 (UPI) -- Guinness World Records said the TV series "Dance India Dance" set a world record when 4,428 people in Mumbai simultaneously danced a Bollywood routine.

The record-keeping organization said an adjudicator was on hand to see students from local schools and colleges join the 13 contestants from this season of the show in a dance set to the Bollywood song "Dhinkachika Dhinkachika."

The dance was choreographed by Terence Lewis and Remo D'souza.
