MARATHON, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- A Florida real estate agent said he is seeking a "unique buyer" for a $12 million private island home in the Florida Keys described by its owner as "rustic."

Marvin Arrieta with Century 21 Premier Elite Realty in Coral Gables said the Monroe County property appraiser put the property's total market value for 2011 at $1,017,392, but $12 million is the "right price to start on this sell" because it includes a private island, The Miami Herald reported Tuesday.

"The ocean is all around you," Arrieta said. "This is a very unique property. We need a unique buyer."

The real estate agent said the island, East Sister Rock Island, is a 3-minute boat ride from Marathon.

Current owner Bob Williford described the 1.4-acre estate as "a rustic vacation place where you can come and charge up your batteries. It's not fancy like staying at Trump Plaza, but it is a place where you can get away from everything."
