DALLAS, March 12 (UPI) -- A Dallas man said he has been flooded with phone calls since pop star Justin Bieber posted a phone number to Twitter with the last digit missing.
Emily Horton, an attorney for the man, who asked not to be named, said her client estimated he has received nearly 1,000 calls since the Wednesday Twitter posting by Bieber, which matched the man's phone number except for the final digit being replaced by a question mark, KTVT-TV, Dallas/Fort Worth, reported Monday.
Horton said most of the callers have been polite and agreed to spread the word about the man's phone number not leading to the pop star's phone.
The lawyer said her client does not want to change his number, which he has had for more than 20 years.
"He doesn't want to cut off communication with people," she said. "He wishes there were some way to filter out the calls, but at this time, there is no way to do that."
