Alleged thieves slept in stolen car

HELSINGBORG, Sweden, March 5 (UPI) -- Swedish police investigating an oddly parked car said they found the vehicle had been stolen and the alleged thieves were sleeping inside.

Police in Helsingborg said officers responded to a report of a car parked near a busy intersection around 4 a.m. Sunday and officers arrived to find the car had been reported stolen and there were two men sleeping inside, The Local reported Monday.

The men, ages 23 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of car theft. The younger man is also suspected of drug crimes and was believed to be under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest.
