Man accused in Secret Service car theft

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- A homeless man was arrested in Washington, D.C., after he allegedly tried to steal a car that belonged to the Secret Service, police said.

The car was parked Friday afternoon near the Sidwell Friends School attended by President Obama's daughters, WTOP.com reported.

The man allegedly jumped into the car and tried to drive it away.

He was arrested and accused of carjacking, WTOP.com said.
