MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Thirty of the country's 44 presidents are immortalized in Minneapolis' Northeast neighborhood, where Presidents Day is marked with a trivia contest and a walk.

Sheila Biernat, who helped coordinate the activities, said walkers during the weekend event occasionally stopped their meandering to discuss presidential biographies and the evolution of the area, the Star Tribune reported Monday.

About 30 streets in Northeast are named for U.S. presidents.

The event Saturday ended at a middle school, where about 150 residents participated in a trivia contest.

For the record, President Harry S. Truman was the only president to visit the section of Minneapolis, and Delano -- to honor Franklin Delano Roosevelt -- is the neighborhood's shortest street.

(The city has a Franklin in another area and Roosevelt in Northeast was named for Theodore Roosevelt.)
