BELYAYEVKA, Russia, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- A lawsuit two Russian women filed against the hospital where they were born in 1975 accuses medical workers of switching them at birth.

The women, identified in court documents as Arkhipova N.M. and Buanova O.V., are seeking more than $100,000 compensation for the "moral trauma" they received as a result of being sent home with the wrong families from the Belyayevka village hospital, RIA Novosti reported Friday.

The women said they have taken DNA tests that determined they were not genetically related to the people they thought to be their parents.
