LONDON, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Top Totty, a brand of beer featuring a buxom bikini-clad woman on its logo, has been booted out of the Strangers' Bar in the British House of Commons.

The action came 90 minutes after Kate Green, the Labor Party spokeswoman on equality issues, lodged a complaint with the House leader, Sir George Young, The Daily Telegraph reported Thursday.

Green found the beer's logo offensive. But some members of Parliament -- mostly male and not from the Labor Party -- found her lacking in humor, the Telegraph said.

Tracey Crouch, a Conservative MP, suggested the beer might be more offensive if it was called "Middle-Ranking Totty."

Top Totty is a microbrew, created by Ged Slater of Stafford in 1995. Slater originally brewed it in the parking lot at his pub, The George.

Slater describes the beer as "a stunning blonde beer, full-bodied with a voluptuous hop aroma." His daughter-in-law, Fay Slater, calls the advertising and logo "just a bit of cheeky fun."

Top Totty was being sold in the Strangers' Bar as a guest beer, a program to give small breweries a leg up. But the beer has undoubtedly gotten more publicity from being kicked out.
