Menna Pritchard, 26, of Llanwrda, whose blog about climbing has courted questions about the safety of her 2-year-old daughter, Ffion, during the climbs, said she has been scaling cliffs with the girl in tow since she was 4 months old, the Western Mail, Cardiff, Wales, reported Tuesday.

"I bought my first baby carrier when I was six months pregnant and Ffion's first summit was Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons when she was 4 months old. She slept through the whole thing. She was in a front carrier at that time and it really was incredibly safe. Safety is always paramount," Pritchard said.

"The thing that provoked the most controversy was a picture I had posted online of me rock climbing with Ffion on my back. I can appreciate if you didn't realize how safe the environment I was in, it could be worrying, but I was top-roping which means if you fall you don't fall any further than where you came off. It is the safest form of climbing you can do. I was also in a beach environment surrounded by experienced climbers," she said.

Woman marries Seattle building

SEATTLE, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- An Occupy Seattle protester who held a ceremony to wed a 107-year-old building said she was protesting the gentrification of the neighborhood.

Babylonia Aivaz said she donned a puffy dress and married the abandoned building at 10th and Union Sunday as a protest against gentrification in the area, Seattlepi.com reported Tuesday.

However, gay-themed magazine Instinct took issue with Aivaz characterizing the wedding as a "gay marriage."

"Okay, we gotta ask: Why is this like 'gay marriage' (as she likes to call it)? Because, we'll marry horses and dogs and oxen next? Why didn't she take her loony idea about marrying a building and just call it marriage?" the magazine's editors wrote.

Airport adds Yoga Room

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Officials at San Francisco International Airport said the Yoga Room installed in the remodeled Terminal 2 is believed to be the only one of its kind.

Airport Director John Martin said the 150-square-foot facility was added to the terminal during the recent renovations to make the experience of passing through the airport more enjoyable, the San Francisco Chronicle reported Tuesday.

"When we began to remodel Terminal 2, one of our goals was not just to bring the glamour back to air travel but also to make the entire experience less stressful and more enjoyable," he said. "With the opening of the Yoga Room, SFO has taken another giant leap forward in providing our travelers the opportunity and space to relax and decompress on their own terms."

"One kidney is enough for me to live on; therefore, I am willing to give it up to help a 38-year-old smile again," the woman said.
