DEKALB, Ga., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- One of five Florida State University championship rings stolen from a Georgia man has been found put up for sale in Canada.

Jeff Womble of DeKalb, Ga., who played nose tackle at FSU from 1999 to 2003, said five of his championship rings, including the 2001 Orange Bowl Florida State championship ring, were taken from his mother's house in November, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday.

Womble said he was contacted recently by a London, Ontario, woman who said she found the Orange Bowl ring, which is engraved with Womble's name, for sale on Web site Kijiji. The woman, who asked not to be named, contacted police and officers recovered the ring from a man who purchased it though a private sale.

"It's going to be returned shortly. Arrangements are being made," London police spokesman Dennis Rivest said.

Womble said another of his rings was returned in December by a man who said he found it on the street.

Police said they have tied an 11-year-old boy to the burglary and they are looking into whether other juveniles were involved.
