Police said the woman, who was registered as sight-impaired and collected benefits from the government, was found to be working at a municipal health office, ANSA reported Friday. Advertisement Investigators said the woman had "processed 135 files on other people also affected by imaginary illnesses" at the office. Novara police said a man who said he was "totally blind" was charged with fraud Jan. 12 after he was found to be regularly driving a minicar and riding his bike. Police in Sardinia said a man claiming "100 percent blindness" was arrested on a fraud charge after police filmed him signing a document.
