ARDEN HILLS, Minn., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- For the seventh time this Christmas season, a mystery donor has dropped 10 $100 bills in a Twin Cities-area Salvation Army kettle, the U.S. charity says.

The latest instance of uncommon generosity occurred Monday at a Cub Foods supermarket in the St. Paul suburb of Arden Hills, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported Wednesday.

"St. Grand strikes again," Salvation Army spokeswoman Annette Bauer said.

It's not known whether the same person is responsible for all seven gifts, which started showing up Nov. 29. The seventh donation returned to the style of the first five -- all the bills were crisp new bills. Whoever made the sixth kettle deposit used circulated bills.
