Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe BATTLE CREEK, Mich., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Police in Michigan are seeking a 22-year-old woman accused of throwing hot cappuccino in the face of a gas station clerk. Battle Creek police said the clerk at the Marathon station told investigators the woman came into the store with a man around 9:49 a.m. Wednesday and they argued with her about the price of the cappuccino drinks they had chosen, the Battle Creek Enquirer reported Friday. Advertisement Police said the man left his cup on the counter and began to leave, but the woman continued to argue with the clerk and then ran out after throwing the hot drink at the clerk. Investigators said the man and woman were identified from security footage. The 25-year-old man was arrested on outstanding warrants and told officers he only knew the woman casually. However, police said the pair have a child together and have been involved in domestic violence calls. Police said they are seeking the woman for questioning and she is likely to face an assault charge.
