KINGSTON, N.Y., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Two Kingston, N.Y., youngsters called 911 in an attempt to talk to Santa Claus, police say.

About 11 a.m. Sunday, two children, ages 4 and 6, called 911 and asked to speak to either the police chief or Santa Claus, Times Herald-Record in Middletown reported.

Police said officers paid a visit to the Kingston home, interviewed the family and kids and tutored them on the proper use of the emergency number.
