Allen Kirson said Captain, his green and yellow Amazon parrot, apparently flew off his shoulder while he was riding his bike in the Brooklyn borough's Kensington neighborhood Friday, the New York Post reported Monday. Advertisement Kirson said the parrot has become a local celebrity, performing at homes for seniors and children's hospitals. "He talks, sings and dances. He has a huge vocabulary and loves to sing opera songs," Kirson said.
