HOLLYWOOD, Fla., Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Paint company Tnemec said the newly refurbished water tower in Hollywood, Fla., was chosen to be the cover image of its new calendar.

The firm said the tower, which was refurbished earlier in the year, was chosen as the cover image due to the vibrant colors of the fish and turtles painted on the structure, The Miami Herald reported Monday.

"Hollywood's water tank definitely stood out," said Mark Thomas, vice president of marketing for Tnemec. "It's a landmark for the community."

The water tower received a clock and temperature reader as part of the work that ended in May, but they have yet to work properly, officials said.
