Naked Russian leads police on chase

MOSCOW, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Moscow police said a drunk, naked man led them on a chase Sunday, resulting in 17 smashed cars, including four police vehicles.

"On Sunday, an unknown man who was drunk and driving a Renault Megan car lost control during driving and damaged several cars. He did not respond to a police demand to stop, after which the police started to chase him," a police spokesman said.

Police managed to stop the car chase without using firearms, Russian news agency Novosti reported. When police pulled the man out of his vehicle, they found him naked and heavily drunk, the spokesman said. An investigation is under way.
