CUMMING, Ga., Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Authorities in Georgia said a bank robber who used a furnace filter to hide his face from tellers failed to conceal his features from a security camera.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office said the man was wearing gloves and carrying the air filter and a toolbox when he entered the Best Bank in the Kroger supermarket in Cumming shortly after 10 a.m. Monday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

"He used the air filter to try to conceal his identity from the employees. I guess he didn't see the camera," Deputy Matt Runion said. "He did not produce or threaten to use a weapon during the robbery."

Investigators said they are working to identify the man, who got away with an unspecified amount of cash.
