NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- The New York creator of the TsuRag, a "stringless 'do-rag" with Velcro, said he was inspired by the headaches and forehead marks caused by his old 'do-rag.

Aaron Henry, 34, said the TsuRag, which uses Velcro straps to stay in place, is designed to be more comfortable than a traditional 'do rag without sacrificing function, the New York Daily News reported Friday.

"My goal with the TsuRag was to come up with a new way to maintain your hair," Henry said.

"I want them to put it on and know that it's doing its job without compromising their appearance," Henry said of his customers. "It's truly designed to maintain your 'do."

The product is available for purchase at TsuRag.com.
