Jaguar modified for dogs to be auctioned

LONDON, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- A British auction house announced a unique 1959 Jaguar XK150 modified by its owner to fit his two Labradors is headed for the auction block.

Tim Schofield at Bonhams auction house said the car was fused together with the rear section of a Morris Minor Traveller in the 1970s by owner Geoffrey Stevens, who said he needed the extra room so he could bring his Labradors along on car trips, The Daily Express reported Tuesday.

Schofield said the car, which was dubbed The Foxbat, is will be auctioned with a starting price of $65,260.
