Subscribe | UPI Odd Newsletter Subscribe ATLANTA, Aug. 22 (UPI) -- A 12-year-old Georgia girl investigating a burglary at her late great-grandmother's home said she confronted a suspect, but police have made no arrests. Jessica Maple, who attended the Fulton County District Attorney's Junior District Attorney camp in Atlanta earlier in the summer, said police told her family there were no signs of forced entry at the Atlanta home, where several large items were taken, ABC News reported Monday. Advertisement "I went to the side of the house and looked at the garage," the girl said. "The windows were broken. There were finger prints by the glass. Everything was ramshackled. There were clothes everywhere." Maple told ABC she next visited a nearby pawn shop, where she discovered the stolen items and the manager had copies of the IDs of the men who brought in the goods. The girl said she and her mother, Stephanie, went to the home of one of the suspects and confronted him. "We went up to him and I asked him why he did it," she said. "At first he denied it, but then he confessed." Maple said she shared all of her findings with police, but they have yet to make any arrests. Advertisement "They have all the evidence," Maple said. "I have no idea what is taking so long!"
