Underwear conceals chubby male midsections

Aug. 16, 2011 at 4:00 AM   |   Comments

LONDON, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- A British supermarket said it is selling boxer shorts designed to smooth out flabby male midsections in the same way control underwear benefits women.

Asda said the product, dubbed Manx after female brand Spanx, is made from stretchy fabric designed to reduce the appearance of large bellies, bottoms and "love handles," The Daily Telegraph reported Monday.

"We know some guys worry about unmanageable body wobbles just as much as women do so why not offer them a little helping hand to look their best too?" said Heather Moreton, men's clothes manager for Asda.
