VERO BEACH, Fla., Aug. 13 (UPI) -- Police in Florida said they arrested a man who was found eating on the floor of a Walmart bathroom and refused to leave the store.

Indian River sheriff's deputies said a loss prevention officer at the Vero Beach Walmart reported Taylor Allen Dresia, 22, was "eating food" on the bathroom floor and blocking access to the toilets at about 4 p.m. Aug. 7, TCPalm.com reported Friday.

"After a few minutes Dresia left and then returned in another entrance yelling that an employee stole something from his backpack while he was in the bathroom," the arrest affidavit states.

A deputy arrived and ordered Dresia to leave the store, but the man allegedly responded he was not leaving and wanted to write something down.

"I then advised Dresia not to play games and exit the store now," the affidavit states. "Dresia again refused."

Dresia, who is listed as homeless, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of trespassing and resisting an officer.
