The ruling came Monday in a case against a couple from the northern town of Biella, in Piedmont, found having sex in a car parked in the town's public square, ANSA reported. Advertisement The two were found by a patrolman who found them "completely naked, one on top of the other," the Italian news agency said. The couple asked for a lighter charge of public indecency, a misdemeanor. The court was unsympathetic to the request, reaffirming an earlier court ruling labeling sex in a car as a felony. The pair could be sentenced to between three months and three years in prison.
