SEAGROVE, Fla., June 24 (UPI) -- Florida police arrested the pantsless manager of a Christian radio station after he pulled up next to two females, ages 15 and 23, and asked about a nude beach.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office said James Ashley Hulgan, 40, of Leeds, Ala., allegedly stopped the two women Wednesday while driving a white van in Seagrove and asked if they knew of a nude beach in the area, The Walton Sun reported Friday.

Investigators said the man told the females to get into his van but they refused.

Sheriff Michael Adkinson Jr. said Hulgan was arrested about 2:18 p.m. at an apartment complex in Seagrove and charged with a felony count of lewd and lascivious behavior and a misdemeanor count of indecent exposure.

"Our deputies apprehended the suspect within minutes of receiving the call," Adkinson said. "They should be commended for their rapid response and quick thinking."

The South Florida Sun Sentinel said Hulgan works as general manager of WLJR, a radio station operated by the Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Ala.
