VICTORIA, Seychelles, May 24 (UPI) -- Prince William and Princess Catherine were presented with a rare aphrodisiac fruit before departing from their honeymoon in the Seychelles.

The royal couple were presented with the Coco de Mer coconut, which resembles the female buttocks in shape, at a Friday ceremony marking the end of their 10-day stay in the Indian Ocean nation, The Mirror reported Tuesday.

The fruit, nicknamed the "love nut," grows only on Praslin Island and is revered as a fertility symbol and a potent aphrodisiac in the Seychelles.

The Coco de Mer was presented to the couple by Foreign Minister Jean-Paul Adam on behalf of Seychelles President James Michel.

William and Kate told staff on the Northern Island, where they spent their honeymoon, they had "the time of our lives" during their stay.

"I've had the best diving I've ever experienced while I've been here. It has been amazing. We have had a truly magical time," William told staff members.
