LYME REGIS, England, May 21 (UPI) -- Animal authorities in Britain said a wild wallaby found grazing in a resident's back yard was captured by a firefighter.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said Jan Cooper of Lyme Regis, England, spotted the wallaby grazing in her back garden and called authorities, Sky News reported Friday.

The wallaby was caught by a firefighter and taken to an Exminster, England, animal park.

The RSPCA said wallabies are native to Australia but a small number of them live wild in Britain.
