PITTSBURGH, May 5 (UPI) -- Two exhibition service workers were caught stealing two sets of valuable antlers at the National Rifle Association convention in Pittsburgh, police said.

Pittsburgh police said Stephen Christopher Lee, 44, of Cumberland, Md., and Gary Curtis Felts, 49, of Jopps, Md., both employees of Brede Exposition Services offices in Beltsville, Md., walked off with two pairs of elk antlers valued at $500,000 and $15,000 Sunday night while the owner was waiting to load his truck outside of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, the Pittsburgh Tribune Review reported Wednesday.

Investigators said the men were spotted carrying the antlers across a walkway connecting the east and west sides of the convention center, where the NRA convention had just come to a close. They were detained by security personnel, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Lee and Felts were each charged with theft and criminal conspiracy. They were released after they each posted $5,000 bond.
